Mini MoTu is mod god Dr. Mo’s second signature model.

This is the second version of the middle-sized Mini Mo-Trix, hence the name Mini MoTu (two). Mini MoTu set the standard for middle sized yo-yos, even smaller than the original with intricate string tricks clearly in mind. You can attach a long string for complicated string tricks, or use it for practicing difficult small movements like Chopsticks-style tricks, the Mini MoTu is a great yo-yo for practical practice, giving all players a chance to practice new and difficult techniques, or develop their own. Taking after its big brother, Mini MoTu has a wide round shape and uses o-ring for response, but it has an even thicker metal rim to give it a more solid spin, surprising everyone with its long sleep longevity. It has far more capabilities than it looks at first glance. The caps are removable, revealing a lip on the inner ring where you can practice thumb grinds. In 2005, Takayasu Tanaka (former Team YoYoJam member) used a Mini MoTu to clinch the 1A World Championship, showing its worth on the contest scene.
